This is The Beatles' first Ed Sullivan Show and also their first appearance on The US television which was aired on February 9th 1964. Seventy-three million people were reported to have watched this show which supposed to be one of the largest viewing audiences ever in the States. This song "I Saw Her Standing There" is the 4th number of the show. The first number is All My Loving is uploaded by a lot of channels and the last number I Want To Hold Your Hand is already uploaded by The Beatles' original channel so I'm not gonna upload two of them.
The whole show is blocked so I have to split the screen. Hope this won't make you feel uncomfortable. I will upload the other three Ed Sullivan shows later. Please stay tuned.
Well, she was just seventeen
You know what I mean
And the way she looked
Was way beyond compare
So how could I dance with another
Ooh, when I saw her standing there?
Well, she looked at me
And I, I could see
That before too long
I'd fall in love with her
She wouldn't dance with another
Ooh, when I saw her standing there
Well, my heart went "boom"
When I crossed that room
And I held her hand in mine
Oh we danced through the night
And we held each other tight
And before too long
I fell in love with her
Now I'll never dance with another
Ooh, since I saw her standing there
Well, my heart went, "Boom"
When I crossed that room
And I held her hand in mine
Oh, we danced through the night
And we held each other tight
And before too long
I fell in love with her
Now I'll never dance with another
Oh, since I saw her standing there
Oh, since I saw her standing there
Yeah, well since I saw her standing there
